AT&T to Buy BellSouth, Creating Telecom Giant - New York Times

AT&T Wireless was sold by AT&T to Cingular in 2004. Cingular is owned by BellSouth. Then, SBC bought AT&T and became AT&T. Now, AT&T buys BellSouth. So now, AT&T shareholders from 2004 regain some control of AT&T wireless in the from of Cingular.
