To use portableapps on a small flash drive, around 64mb, install the portable apps base program, then dowload additional programs like Thunderbird Portable and GAIM portable. These two programs installed will leave about 24 mb free on a 64 mb flash drive. One advantage with Portable applications on a flash drive is that they run faster since the memory is on non-moving parts.
